We all might agree, owing to corona situations, the last two years have been emotionally, mentally, physically challenging for all of us. This year, in the urge to feel my connection to MY SOUL, I got this wonderful opportunity to visit an NGO "SaiKripa" in Noida, founded 34 years ago, running an orphanage.
There I met this divine lady Ms. Anjina Rajagopal, Chief functionary of this NGO, such a magical and impactful aura she possesses. They have children with age starting from one month up to some senior students going to outside schools and colleges (Pursuing Bio-Tech and Bachelors). The entire staff and children call Anjina ma'am "Mummy". Although on the personal front by her choice she stayed unmarried.
She founded "SaiKripa" in the year 1987. In 1988, "SaiKripa" was like a baby lost in the woods - because nobody took Anjina and her brainchild "SaiKripa" seriously, but slowly people started joining hands with "SaiKripa" and a strong bond was formed. They opened an English medium school "Sai Shiksha Sansthan" in the year 1991. But owing to covid scenarios have to shut down this school last year.
"Sai Bal Sansar" is an informal education center with the main purpose to engage underprivileged children towards education and spending time more fruitfully, rather than taking to begging and loitering around.
“Sai Vatsalya Vatika” which means “Sai’s Garden of Love and Affection” has been started for children with special needs.
"Sai Vocational Training Centre" to design a clear path from education to employment to entrepreneurship.
"SaiKripa's" future plans revolve around:
Vocational activities training.
Shelter home for senior citizens.
